Every one of our children deserves the gold-standard of public education, regardless of the zip code they live in.  As a former bilingual math and science teacher in the Bronx and public school parent, Mark understands both how sacred that promise is, but also how far our schools are from keeping it.

But the Trump administration has already begun attacking teachers and our children. We need a strong, fierce fighter who will protect our school budgets from Trump’s agenda of cruelty and mayhem.  

As Comptroller, Mark will hold City Hall and Trump accountable to our children. He’ll fight to ensure that  every student gets access to the programs and specialized support they are entitled to, ensure the Department of Education keeps class sizes small,  and vastly expand our city’s early childcare infrastructure to ensure that every child has access to affordable care.
