We used to measure time in a “New York minute,” but whether you’re waiting on MTA delays, stuck in traffic, or trying to walk or bike to your destination, traveling around the city safely and quickly is increasingly hard. This reality holds us all back.

Mark has fought to improve subway reliability and accessibility; deploy safety infrastructure on subway platforms; make our sidewalks safer; invest in infrastructure so that cyclists, motorists and pedestrians can safely share the road; and reduce congestion so that our buses, emergency vehicles and other users of the street can travel safely. As Comptroller, Mark will continue to make it easier for New Yorkers to get where they’re going, no matter the time of day or distance they need to travel.
